RE: Install Latest available RedHat

Hi

Ok, I have tried this rpm -K --nopgp --nogpg *.* in the RPMS
directory......everything reported a OK back.

I retried the installation........with the latest boot-disk and anaconda
updates-disk......

Still the same problem!!!!

Doing a download from a mirror site frequently means you end up getting
files like index.htm and ls-lR.gz in the directories. There's a fix in the
RH Gotchas section 4.15 that says remove everything except *.rpm files from
the RedHat/RPMS directory. and do a check on the rpms by doing a

'rpm -K --nogpg *rpm'

or

'rpm -K --nopgp *rpm'

Worked for me!
