Subject: CDROM not recognize during installation (RH 6.1)

System info:
http://assist.acer.com/public/system/91413019Y7.htm

The setup program doesn't seem to recognize the CDROM, or the floppy disk
even!!! I tried using SBCDP='0x230,SoundBlaster' (both with and without the
quotes) because I tried compiling a new kernel on a different machine to
support the panasonic 563 cdrom (connected to soundblaster cdrom) and
somehow the kernel bootup recognized the cdrom.

I'm not sure what the problem is, neither have any knowledge of how to work
around it, any suggestions?

Thanks!!
