I've been working with your suggestions and have not seen success yet. I've
used method #1 and #2 from the link you provided but still cannot get it to
work. Now I'm going to use the updated kernel which supports framebuffering at
the link with the XFree86 3.3.6 that is now available in RedHat 6.2beta. This
is your suggestion but apparently this has just come out after our email.

Have you heard if the kernel in the RH6.2beta supports framebuffering since
the newer version of XFree86 3.3.6 is in this distribution?
Thanks for all the help. I'm learning much more but success still seems to
be elusive.
