3COM 3c905C problem

I try to install rh6.1 on a machine with a 3COM 3c905c.

I keep getting an error message saying:
eth0: 3Com 3c905C Tornado at 0xd800, *** INVALID CHECKSUM 0023***

The card shows up nicely with ifconfig and route. But the connection
doesn't work.

I have this error with the distribution kernel 2.2.12 aswell as with a
newly compiled 2.2.14 kernel.
The dos utility that comes with this NIC doesn't give me any signs of an
error.

Anyone seen this too? Anyone any solution for this?
