Hello, I've been trying to get my external Iomega Zip plus drive
recognize by redhat. I first got the IMM driver, tried to make file. It
didn't work, gave me a bunch of errors and warnings. Then I found out I
already have imm.o in /lib/modules/2.2.12-20($(uname -r)/scsi so I
followed the steps in the mini ZIP-Drive HOWTO, unloaded lp (it wasn't
loaded I think), then loaded imm.o--insmod imm. Then I got these
messages:
./imm.o: unresolved symbol parport_register_device_R9b846d61./imm.o:
unresolved symbol parport_release_R93e35225./imm.o: unresolved symbol
parport_claim_R03289313./imm.o: unresolved symbol
parport_unregister_device_Re6842bfb./imm.o: unresolved symbol
parport_enumerate_R6a5c148b
I got similar messages when I did "insmod ppa".
I have only one parallel port for my ATX motherboard, so I connect it to
the zip drive, and hooked up the printer through it. I have Redhat 6.1,
with 2.2.12-20 kernel.
Thank you for your time and help.
