Re: Internet Access

I went through my configuration in X-Windows when I was getting everything installed. This was a fast and painless setup of 6.0. However, all I do to get online (yes, i'm a terminal junkie) is type 'ifup ppp0' at the command line. This activates the ppp session and then from there I check the connection status with 'tail -f /vr/log/messages' to see what kind of errors or success messages are displayed.

Make sure resolv.conf is correct and if I'm not mistaken, that should be all you'd need to check. Find out from the ISP if you are required to run the PAP-Secrets in your login. Hope this helps.
