Hello, people!
I'm having difficulty with the <kernel> parameter of the mkbootdisk command.
I have upgraded my system from the 2.2.14 to the 2.2.16 kernel and I want to
create a boot disk that uses the new compilation I created in
/usr/src/linux. My problem is that the <kernel> parameter of mkbootdisk
always references the /lib/modules/ directory which apparently has some
older kernel related subdirectories within it.
I'm really unfamiliar with the /lib/modules/ directory. Is there some way
that I can add compilations under that directory? (Should I even be doing
that? And if not, how can I make my own boot disks based on my own
compilations?) Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.
Many thanks beforehand,
Nick Katsifarakis
