Hi Leo, sorry for not replying you early.
What i did was tried ur conf that u sent it to me, What i did was on the
Modes Line I already had the line 640*480 but with out any frequency so i
added the word "@60" to it. and Rebooted the System. Now after doing this
all i got was this Message
According to /var/usr/gdm.pid gdm was already running (506), but seems to
have been murdered mysteriously.
so i went in for the second solution that i had sent u. I got this at the
site of Red hat. But i still have not seen which options i need. Soon i will
try to find and Tell u.

I was wondering, did you check which of these options you actually need?
All,
two, or just one? For me "noaccel" (or "no_accel") works fine, but then I
use
a PCI card with 4 MB and not an AGP. Did you actually try the configuration
I
sent you? Did it not work?
Maybe I should have been a bit more descriptive about the file I sent you,
instead of just letting you cut and paste it. I thought the version without
any comment and unnecessary lines would be self expanatory, because of its
relative simplicity.
Bye,
Leonard.
