If you had a Lucent or PCTel-based software modem, it would be a
possibility (http://www.linmodems.org/). Since your modem is based on a
Rockwell chipset, however, you will have to wait until Conexant decides
to provide the module that makes a modem work.
Sorry. Buy a real modem and get it over with.
