but I am still confused.
on my machine, I use
  xhost +sgi35.cs.xxx.edu

and I telnet to the application machine
  telnet sig35.cs.xxx.edu
what is the "name_of_linux_machine"?
do I only need to type "setenv redhat:0.0", or "setenv linux:0.0"?
