Jserv installation

Hi all,

I installed apache 1.3.12 with statically linked PHP 3.0.16 (with MySQL
support) using a great tutorial , on my Redhat 6.2 box. We want to add Jserv
support to our server ..I would hate to have to recompile Apache... and disrupt a running
system....

I'd used the following to compile my Apache ..

#./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache
#./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache
--activate-module=src/modules/php3/libphp3.a

NOW.. do i *have* to recompile Apache , or  can i just load Jserv as a
module ?

Whats the least painful way to install Jserv ........from here.........
