Guys, Disaster!
I just followed all steps you all sad and I sucessfully partitioned and
Installed RedHat 6.1.
However whem I was partitioning my disk I forget to use all space, so some
space was unallocated.
Given that my 15GB disk was:
/dev/hda1 4000Mb DOS (my windows (arghh) all other really important
stuff)
/dev/hda5 3000Mb Linux Native (with all paths like /, /usr, /etc and etc)
/dev/hda6 128Mb Swap Space.
So, more than 7000Mb was unallocated. Remembering the DOS FDISK, I started
Linux fdisk, and intended to allocated the remainig space I chose "create a
new DOS partiiton table". (Oops!)...... Then the nightmare became true!
When I tried to reboot my computer Lilo display:
L 80 80 80 80 80 80 80 ........
EVERITHING was gone! Is there some way to recovery from that? Is that
possible?
Note: I do not have any undo disk. : (
