Try the following in the syconfig file on the floppy.

default ks
prompt 1
timeout 100
display boot.msg
label linux
  kernel vmlinuz
  append ks=floppy initrd=initrd.img network

I'd fixed the language issue after I posted this. I've got an NFS install going successfully as well. By doing this, this fixed problem two - regarding hostnames.

I've now got a new problem! I've gone one further and have got PXE boot going. It works well, but I cannot seem to automatically specify a kickstart install at bootup. At the Kernel Options prompt, I have to type 'linux ks'. Is there a way to automate this?
