Hello,
Sometimes Linux crashes and I do not know why. I get the following message
repeated a couple of times:
ll_rw_block: device 08:03 only 512-char blocks implemented (4096)
Then the terminal hangs. I tried to login from another terminal and tried
to terminate some processes, which has failed (terminating). A while later
I cannot login anymore, it keeps hangin. Even a soft reset (shutdown or
ctr+alt+del) stopped after the broadcast message 'System is going down for
reboot now!'.
A hard reset is required.
Does anybody know what the reason for this could be? It just happens
sometimes, so I do not know what I did. I am using Redha6.1 on a pentium 1
with scsi, for what it may be for use.
Greetings,
Sebastiaan
