Choice of video cards

I did find out that it was my AGP graphic card (and fortunately not the
slot) that is about to go on me, so I have to buy a new video card. Given
what is available and what I can afford, I am considering the following
cards:
S3 Savage 4 AGP x2 SDRAM 16 MB 64 bit
WinFast 3D S320V, Riva TNT2 Vanta SGRAM 16 MB with a passive cooler
WinFast 3D S325, Riva TNT2 M64, with a cooler, SDRAM 32 MB
WinFast 3D S325 Riva TNT2 Ultra, with cooler SDRAM 16MB
on an AMD K-6 2 (300 MHz) A-Open AX59PRO motherboard.
Any experiences on how these cards work in Linux (6.2) and what, if any,
considerations I should take in as far as configuration is concerned?
I don't use the computer for games, however, I do have a HAUPPAUGE TV-card
which requires at least 24 Bit color.
These cards are costing anywhere from approx. $60 - $100. If you happen to
know that I could get a much better card at a cheaper price in the States, I
would be interested in it - It is possible for me to get someone to buy it
for me. Because I don't trust the security on the Internet, I don't buy via
the Internet unless I have no other choice.
Any suggestions or advice will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Marie-Thérèse
