I am trying to do a kickstart installation of Redhat 6.2 and am
getting similar anaconda errors during X configuration. When using
the exact same ks.cfg file under 6.0, everything works fine. Below
are the errors.
Traceback (innermost last)
file "/usr/bin/anaconda", line 342 in ?
intf.run(todo, test = test)
file "/usr/lib/anaconda/text.py", line 1165 in run
rc = apply (step [1](), step [2])
file "/usr/lib/anaconda/text.py", line 584 in __call__
todo.get CompsList()
file "/usr/lib/anaconda/todo.py" line 473 get CompsList
self.updateInstClassComps()
I have just found that Redhat has a bug fix for the anaconda installer
and a new boot.img. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Thanks,
Jeff VanDenbussche

I am trying to install Redhat 6.2 on 9GB (win98) partition, I have the
RPMS and base dir on another partition.
The installation goes up to installing packages but comes out with
following error.
/usr/bin/anaconda.real line 342 error and
/usr/lib/anaconda/comps.py line xxx error.
I am trying to create a single partition on 9GB partition for /, /usr,
/var etc.
I am doing anything wrong? Kindly let me know.
Thanks,
Kale
