alias eth0 ewrk3
options ewrk3 io=0x300 irq=10.
To get the card back up (the way I want it) I have to:
1) /sbin/rmmod ewrk3
2) /sbin/modprobe ewrk3.o io=0x300 irq=10
3) ifconfig eth0 204.112.40.139
4) Go into linuxconf to set the gateway and dns and activate the changes.
Obviously, I would like this automated on startup. Also, since we have a
raft of identically configured PC's (and no cd-rom) , I would like to create
a boot floppy with network support for them so I can load the O/S over the
network via NFS or FTP. Ideas and comment welcome.
Cheers,
