Help with re-installing XFree86

I am running Red Hat 6.0 on my machine and I just installed ATI 
All-in-Wonder 128 PCI video card.  From what I understand, this video card 
is supported by XFree86 3.3.6 and 4.0.  I've tried to upgrade my to 3.3.6 
and completely messed everything up.  Is there a way for me to completely 
remove my current installation of XFree86 and reinstall 3.3.6 or 4.0?
Please be specific since I'm a newbie.
