Subject: mouse x modemHi folks...
I was tryng to make my PCI modem work, and following some steps I found in alink I ended looking up my X.
I was on the text mode, and I thought my modem was using the COM1, ttyS0,
and tryng to configure the modem I had to send a Kill signal to a process
which was using the ttyS0 in order to avoid the device busy message.
Apparently, the ttyS0 was being used by the mouse.
So when I got into X my mouse wasn´t working anymore.
And I am not getting to make it work again.
Is there a way to know wich port my mouse is using, regardless the windows
way ?
Can I discover that for my modem too ? Something like a Probe...
Thanks for the help.________________________________________________________________________
