RE: It seems you don't have hard disk installed

Does the system know that there are SCSI adapter cards installed ?? if the SCSI BIOS is not installed then you could get this error, I used to get this problem alot when Iwas installing BSDI and Solaris...

Subject: It seems you don't have hard disk installed

I am trying to install Redhat-6.2 on the Compaq Proliant. The system has a Compaq Array hardware raid system with three SCSI Hard Drives.

When I use the boot floppy in expert mode am asked to insert a driver diskette which I don't have. Then it proceeds to tell me the there are no hard disks in the system. But I have them. I believe at 6.2 redhat should be able to atleast see the disks.

Please help

Ganizani.
