I have a Red Hat Linux 6.2 machine with two
ethernet cards that I plan to use as a router between two networks. I was
hoping somebody could help me with this because of my limited linux
experience. What options do I need to set in my kernel
configuration? Is it just IP Advanced Router and Optimize As Router Not
Host? Also, are there any commands I would need to issue at boot
time? If so, would these be arguments I pass to the system at the LILO
boot? In addition, how would I appropriately set up a routing table to do
the routing between the two networks? Thanks for all the help.
