redhat install problem

Hello everyone,

I am having problem with Linux installation.
Could someone help me out??

problem:
When redhat linux 6.2 is installed and vmlinuz is loaded,
the OS powers down suddenly.
Environment:
notebook PC by Sharp (PC-BJ140 series)
AMD-K6 III processer
Initially installed with Win98 and trying to
make it multiboot system with Linux.

Any info will be appreciated.
