RE: Setting up ipchains to work with ifup



Why not just call it from rc.local or from within rc3.d?

Even if the modem goes down, the firewall rules will remain unchanged.

Unless, of course, you're firing up the firewall _before_ you fire up the
modem, in which case ppp0 (or whatever) would be nonexistant.  In that case,
you might try puuting it in the ifup script...
