Hi,
I have been making backups of my RH 6.1 with dump.
But the dump progam has been estamting too many
DAT-Tapes as needed!
e.g. for /usr (around 2GB) dump estimated around
35 DDS-2 tapes (120m: 2GB uncpressed). Now I knew that
the total needed tape capacity does not exeeed 2 GB.
Therefore I just stopped the program as it asked for a
next tape.
Sometimes the "dump" estimates a negative number of needed
DAT tapes.
Does any one knows how to put this right.
Thanks
Dominic
