Do a TEXT installation.
I believe you enter the word "text" at the boot prompt.

Subject: Help with install of 6.1
Hi,
I am having a problem with the install of Redhat 6.1 and the problem
seems to stem from my video card. I have an ATI Rage Fury 128 32MB and
during the install of RH 6.1 it seems fine up till the point where it
switches to the graphical part of the install and it detects and runs
the Mach_64 server. This of course doesn't like my card and the whole
install process quits and I get a opportunity to reboot. Thats that.
final. etc...
Anyhow I know that xfree doesn't support the Rage 128 in version 3.3.5
but in 3.3.6 it does and I do have an update. This I understand happens
after the install of RH but it doens't even get through the install. Is
there a way to force the install program to use the vg16 driver? or is
there another that I can force it to use??
Please Help
