after I wait for about 10 minutes, it is okay, I can receive my email again
.
it is due to mailbox password lock busy.

sometimes I can't get to my pop after installing fresh rh6.1
what I have found is there is a line in /etc/inetd.conf
that has a # in the beginning.
what you need to do is remove the # from the line
that says pop3d
