Should work just fine, though you may want to recompile the kernel or
install the kernel RPM for your new CPU.  Just a minor performance
issue, not so much a stability thing.  If your new motherboard has new
features (like UDMA 66), you may have to recompile a newer kernel with
IDE patches to use them.

RH may give you some fits because of Kudzu.  It might be best to disable
it and set things up manually.  (Kudzu is not so good, to perfectly
frank.)
