password is locked problem

Hi,
I am using Redhat Linux 6.1, I try to 'telnet localhost 110' ,at the same
time,I try to click 'send and receive' in Outlook express, then outlook
express reported the following error message:
'-ERR Your mailbox is locked by another POP3 session.  Please wait a few (up
to 10) minutes and try again'.
so my problem is that how to update mail server then I can check my mailbox,
or I have to wait for 10 minutes, I remember someone told me to delete a
file , I forgot it .
