Installing Zip 100 (parallel) on RH 6.1

Help,
I am having difficulty getting my Parallel port Zip 100 Drive to work
under RH 6.1
I used be able to using Dave Campbell's PPA 1.42 hack but I dont have
it anymore. Is there a way to use the module that is supplied
When I do a insmod ppa or imm. I get a list of unresolved symbols :(

Any and all Ideas are welcome.
