RE: General Protection Fault-I forgot



It is my friends computer, but it is a Quantex computer with an Intel PII
CPU.  I am afraid that I don't know anything about the motherboard.

If this failure occurred less frequently or less catastrophically then I
might be inclined to suspect the CPU.  Given the nature of these crashes,
though, I can't imagine that Windows would survive.

This, of course, begs the question: Is there some hardware that is being
annoyed in Linux and not in Windows?
