Hi, Rad Hatters:
I recently installed Red Hat on a new PC. I have a /boot [/dev/hda2]
partition in front of FreeBSD [/dev/hda3] so that I can boot to Red Hat
and also keep FreeBSD early enough on my first hard drive to boot to it.
Using cfdisk I deleted the /boot partition, recreated it larger (also
reinstalling the FreeBSD partition with the appropriate chunk out of it),
and found that all of the /boot files were still in place. Booting works
just fine. My problem is that Red Hat still sees the /boot partition as
being the original size. fdisk and cfdisk both recognize /dev/hda2 as
being the new size. How can I get Red Hat to recognize the correct
partition size for /boot ?
TIA
Chris Booth
