I started working with linux a few days ago with a RedHat6 installation.

System: Intel7CPU-100MHz, 24MB, 2GB HDD, Trident TVGA-9000C, Monitors:
Sony Multiscan 200SX or Samtron 728-SXL, 17" both)

First troubles with the monitor recognition. How (where) can I add a
specification file for my Multisync Samtron 728-SXL?

XWindows: The filemanager window doesn't fit into the screen and the
size menu offers no option to change this.

XConfigurator: ...I've tried to restart the XConfigurator that appears
during the installation, to change the settings but all the commands
failed - Why? Do I need a special path for calling?

xconfig: ...is not very comfortable but - does it take the Default
Settings when <ENTER> is pressed?

Where can I find a HowTo for post installation (changing cards or
drives) and troubleshooting?
