Unless of course you set Linux up as your Domain server - then it will do
authenticating for the network.

Ya I have samba... it is pretty cool.  you'll see it as a computer on the
network and just click and drag at will.  The only limitation that I have
run into is the users authenticating. You have to log on to both network and
Linux... it creates a problem because the same user names have to be used
for both.  In other words samba isn't smart enough to let you logon once...
you have to do it twice but it will only accept the user name that you
entered as the network.
