Help with Netscape Mail server

Help! Before my wife shoots me!
For her, I just installed Mandrake 7 on a Pentium 500 and it went well.
I have installed Redhat on 4 other machines so I am fairly new. When I
first set up the internet stuff, I got on line, got my mail, surfed (my
daughter uses hotmail) etc.
Yesterday I was installing StarOffice 5.1 which didn't go that well.
When I was done I could only get Star Office from the terminal and worst
of all I can still get on line, but Netscape says it can't find the mail
server anymore (same thing with web).
I realize this is redhat list, but I was hoping someone with wisdom
could help me out.
