I'm a newbie to linux, and am trying to set up loadlin to boot linux from
Dos. I'm using loadlin 1.6, and have redhat version 6.1, with a 2.2.12-20
kernel. The kernel is a bzImage file that loads fine from a floppy, but after
copying the kernel to my Dos partition, loadlin doesn't recognize the image
file. I'm invoking loadlin with the following:
loadlin F:\loadlin\bzimage root=/dev/hda6 initrd=f:\loadlin\initrd.img
vga=extended ro
The F: drive is in an extended dos partition on a scsi drive.
If anyone can offer some help, I'd appreciate it.
