yes and is it in its right place, /usr/lib/linuxconf/lib

and the message when i telnet to mail.virtualdomain pop-3 is

 

+OK Virtual virtualdomainname POP# Server (version1.006) ready

 

But when i give him the user name and password it says

 

-ERR invalid usercode or password, please try again

have you got the file vpop3d?

do a search for the file and see what you find. if you can't find the file

then you will need to search the rpms for it.

Hi;

 

I have installed virtual mail server on redhat6.0  by linuxconf and tested it evrything is fine exept :

I can not pop to virtual domains. the user names defined by linuxconf for virtual pop(mail users) can not be recognised by vpop3d.

 

in the inetd.conf I have

pop-3     stream    tcp    nowait root    /usr/lib/linuxconf/lib/vpop3d   /usr/sbin/ipop3d

 

As  recommended in linuxconf help.

Any idea or debuging method is appriciated.
