New video card?

I am running RH 6.1 with an AMD K6-2/350.  I have an ATI Rage Fury
32MB AGP video card.

I want to play hardware-accelerated GL-Quake.  It's my understanding
that the only presently supported cards for this purpose are 3DFX cards,
is this true?  If so, which cards?  Has anybody gotten GLQuake to work
with a similar config?

Incidentally, this card was a PAIN IN THE ASS to get to work right with
Linux.  It was a learning experience - I learned how many different
curse words I know.  :(

Any feedback would be appreciated.
