Thank's to all who are interested. First of all I made a small mistake on
my part the book is indeed by the same authors and contains identical
material, but the title is "LINUX in plain english" not "UNIX in plain
english", sorry for the confusion but it contains the same material that
UNIX in plain english contains, please see the books description below...
I uploaded a gzipped tar file which is about 330k and which can be
downloaded from
<http://netptune.spaceports.com/~kalum/Linux_In_Plain_English.tar.gz> .
Sorry I didn't upload a zip file because the zip was about 1.3 MB. If
someone is interested in getting a zip archive I can upload it tomorrow if
it is necessary.
For the people who mailed me asking me to mail them a copy of the book,
I'm sorry my friends, but I can't mail all of you a 300K mail (I use a
dialup) so if there is someone who *absolutely* needs to get it by mail
only, please do tell me and I will try to oblige.
Here is a small description copied from the distribution.......

Finally, here is a well-organized, essential reference for the growing
number of LINUXr users. This book provides instant access to the LINUX
commands and concepts that LINUX users are confronted with every day. The
first section contains a listing of common LINUX user tasks, in plain
English, with a corresponding LINUX command. Another section cross
references DOS commands with LINUX equivalents. A major portion of this
handy reference is devoted to grouping LINUX commands by type.
Additionally, an alphabetic cross reference exists for those times when
you know exactly what LINUX command you need to use.
Includes detailed listings of all LINUX commands
Covers all of the GNU command set and the LINUX Bash Shell
Details LINUX windows manager and fvwm
Includes X commands from the LINUX X Windows System: XFree86
Covers File Manipulation, Text Processing, Printing, Internet, and FTP and
System Administration
