If you haven't read up on IP masquerading, IP forwarding, & firewalling,
you need to.  You'll also need to be able to setup two network cards
in one machine that both work and do a little basic routing.

This can certainly be done, but doing this poorly is easy and doing
this really well can be tricky.  If you're thinking about doing this
in a professional installation, you really should read up it, or you
could wind up getting burned.  That said, it is definitely one of the
niftiest things you can do with Linux, and it doesn't require anything
that isn't free, if not included.
