you can make the linux box invisible to the outside world as well
by denying access in the /etc/hosts.deny file
just add
all : all
this will deny access to all machines
then edit the /etc/hosts.allow
and
httpd: your ip range.
and all other deamons.
with w2k I hope you have installed the current service pack
I think all you would have to do is add the w2k server to
the domain and migrate the information across the system
you will have to use samba. I think w2k may play silly buggers
as it's version of kerbrose is hugely different to what is
avalible in the real world. During the installation of w2k
you have to select connecting to nt4 network.
