NFS installation

Hi folks:
I'm attempting to install RH 6.0 on a workstation using NFS. This is my
first attempt at installing Linux. We have a Linux file server attached
to our Win95 network, using Samba for our shared files. I'm hoping to
migrate to Linux over the long term.

The workstation in question is an old machine (no cd-rom) with a 500 MB
hard drive & 32 MB of ram. The entire drive has been formatted and
partitioned for Linux. When I reach the point in the install where the
program attempts mount the cd-rom on the server, I receive the following
error message:

"nfs mount failed: permission denied"
"I could not mount that directory from the server"

I've tried several variations of the /etc/exports file, and I seem to be
overlooking something. The following are the relevant configurations:

Client --------------
Partitions:
root 	400mb
boot 	 16 mb
swap	 64 mb

TCP/IP address:
192.168.1.12

Server ----------
$ cat /etc/exports
/mnt/cdrom
192.168.1.*/255.255.255.0(ro,no_root_squash,link_relative,insecure)

$ cat /etc/fstab
/dev/cdrom              /mnt/cdrom              iso9660 noauto,ro,user

I'm probably leaving out something important. Any and all comments would
be appreciated.
