I don't think this will happen since by "passing the book around" as you
put it , it will make the book more popular and people who like it can by
the hard cover if they so wish to.

I think this book will be of great assistance to a lot of people, IMHO
linux is a pretty easy OS to master if you have the relevant info on hand.

BTW Why pay 15$ when it can be got for free, in HTML.
