Can't change resolution with Xwindow...

I have RH6.0 in my intel celeron 466 computer... I have Nokia 
447ZiPlus-monitor and Diamond V770 Non-ultra 32 mb AGP-card.

X window starts properly, but I can't change resolution in it (it gives me 
700x400 or something like that). I've tried with XF86Config, text-based 
setup, and also tried to change it in the x with Ctrl, Alt, + or - key 
combination. But nothing works... what I've missed with that!? HELP, 
PLEASE!!!
