I sugest useing a program called Ranish Partition Manager. If you go to
his web page http://www.users.intercom.com/~ranish/part/primer.htm you can
even find pictures on exsactly what partioning is. Also, his program can
create dos, win fat16 and 32, Linux native and Swap. Another program you
can use instead of lilo is System Comander. Its easy to use with a graphical
interface. Good luck!
