RH61 on Toshiba Tecra8100

Hi List,

i plan to buy a new Notebook (a Toshiba Tecra 8100) and i wonder if
someone out there has already managed to install RedHat 6.1 on this
machine. In special: the Tecra's VGA adapter is a S3 Savage MX (8MB
VRAM), and XFree-3.3.5 lists this card as "not supported" (I know i
could upgrade XFree to 3.3.6 or 4.0, but i have to be version compatible
with some other machines ...)

Which modem/network card should one use, which one would you recommend.
