RE: no valid devices found

I'm curious if anybody got this to work. On my system, (which as you
correctly guessed, does have a Promise Ultra 66 disk controller)...
1. I create the boot disk (following Promise's instructions)
2. I boot from the disk
3. I press return at the boot: prompt
4. I press '1' to signify this is my first time through.
5. I see a list of drives, and it lists hde1 and my SEAGATE drive
6. Then it hangs.
BTW, Linux users ARE very helpful! I was curious if the reputation was
valid, and so far, it seems to be. :)
