The Linux Latop home page contains links to pages about setting up Linux on
several models which _might_ be similar - like the 2655. Check those out and see
if they use the same chip

You can also try the toshiba linux users mailing list. To subscribe (you have to
 subscribe before you can mail the list)
 send "subscribe" in the mail body to tlinux-users-ctl tce co jp

 After you have subscribed, you can send to the list by posting to
tlinux-users tce co jp

When you say it doesn't work, what exactly happens? Does nothing come up on the
screen when you put in a boot disc?
Or is the text blurred?
