Yet another "X freezes"

Yes, X froze.

Only X. I tried both GNOME/E and Icewm. After about two minutes of use,
X freezes. I can't do anything. Machine doesn't respond to pings.

Where can I get debug information on this kind of thing?

The only thing that has changed from a "working" configuration is that I
added another disk and began using RAID-1.

Has anyone else experienced this?
