I already tried something that I would assume would be similar.  I renamed
rescue.bin to rescue.img and did "dd if=rescue.img of=/dev/fd0".  But when I
tried using that floppy as the "root floppy" when the boot process asked for
it, I got an error - something about not finding what it was looking for on
track (or sector?) 0 (sorry, I didn't write down the message).
