RE: login ... in.rlogind (inetd.conf)



Somebody missed the whole point, and now this thread has gone awry...

I just wanted to know if I could safely remove the inetd.conf line
about the login daemon.

I thought it probably was for the r* services, but I wasn't sure &
didn't want to hose myself...  I already use ssh, & from past
experience, don't trust the r* services as far as I can throw
a '65 Pontiac Bonneville...

My question has been answered to my satisfaction : Yes, I can remove it
& still be able to log in through ssh & the console.
